Biography: Abd Almonem Doolaanea was graduated from Aleppo University (Aleppo, Syria) in 2006 as bachelor in pharmacy. After that he worked in Razi Labs Pharmaceuticals as quality control manager for about three years then moved to Malaysia to pursue postgraduate study in Faculty of Pharmacy (International Islamic University Malaysia) where he obtained his PhD in pharmaceutical technology. His PhD work was about drug delivery to the brain using nanoparticles. From 2014 he is working there as assistant professor. He is also working  as head of quality assurance in IKOP SDN BHD. Dr Abd Almonem published more than 30 articles in reputable journals and filed more than 5 patent applications in Malaysia. He is also the principal investigator for a number of university and national grants. His research interest focuses on drug delivery and drug formulation. He is working on nanoparticles for drug delivery including gene therapy, taste masking of pediatric formulations and sustained release formulations for pediatrics.
